My grandfather shared with me that, from a young age, he dreamed of growing coffee, a passion he passed down to the entire family. With the support of his loved ones and the chance to acquire a small farm near Managua, Finca San Antonio was born. This place became more than just a business; it turned into a haven of recreation and connection for our family.

 

From an early age, my brother and I would accompany our grandfather to the farm, where I learned about every stage of the coffee cultivation process. The harvest season captured my attention the most, teaching me, even as a child, the value of hard work. Inspired by my grandfather’s dream, I shared with him my desire to take over the family business one day, with the goal of not only continuing his legacy but also contributing to our community. He was thrilled, as he and my family were the ones who instilled in me the importance of giving back.
